Clare, Annie and the boys
 As friends from university many moons ago, we've shared all kinds of ups and downs over the years. So when we both discovered we were going to become mums within a few months of each other, we were extremely excited to be starting the next chapter of our lives together.

In February 2005, Clare's first baby, Freddie, made his big entrance and Annie's first baby, Oscar arrived later that year. One morning, we were chatting about our everyday experiences when we started talking about a wearable bath towel that we could wrap around our babies as soon as we lifted them out of the bath and cuddle dry. We liked the sound of it so we made one, tried it and so the Coocoose was born! In fact, we thought it made bath time so much better, that everyone else would think so too.

In order to share our idea with other parents and babies, early 2005 we launched Coochi - pure luxurious cotton baby essentials inspired by our own experiences of first time parenthood.

Alongside Coochi and a few other (small) projects, Clare gave birth to Esme, and Annie to Zachary. With two mad toddlers running around, the Coocoose® really proved invaluable! We hope you love it as much as we do.
